Sam (from Foyle's War) and Maddie (from Code Name Verity)! They could bond over being mechanics during WW2, women nominally pressed into service because the men were busy fighting but actually they are good at their jobs and enjoy the work! (I mean, I ship Maddie/Julie, but that ends with "Kiss me, Hardy...)
