I said it before but I really loved that this show had Canon Background Space Lesbians just kinda casually hanging out. I think someone on Tumblr giffed them into a little meet-cute story during the groundhog day ep.
It also made me really happy that clearly Georgiou was the animating Spirit of Trek for most of the show and especially Michael, and Michael embodied that too. While Jason Isaacs got to chew all the scenery ever as "one of the great Trek villains," as he put it. So many fanboys were CLEARLY freaked out that the heroes of the story were an older Asian and young black woman.
(And then we got Mirror!Georgiou as well who is FABULOUS)
