My favourite configurations tend to be human/vampire or new vampire/old vampire, particularly if there’s friction between them. I wish there was more “vampire hunter reluctantly working with vampire” and “charismatic older vampire teaches an unwilling new vampire” for femslash.

Polly/Maladict (Monstrous Regiment) is the exception, but Mina/the Brides (Dracula), Carmilla/Laura (Carmilla book) and Danny/Mattie (Carmilla web series) fit my love for angst!

I love the tropes of one unwillingly drinking the other’s blood, saving the former enemy from dying/getting staked, and vampire powers being used for sex :D

Vamps (2012 film) also has some femslash potential!
