I'm kind of in the process of facing the fact that f/f in my relatively small fandom has been on a steep decline for the past year or so. I'm a "be the change" type myself, so I'm still here and still writing it, but I can't deny feeling a little disheartened. Last year's Femslash February was almost nonexistent in my fandom and I kinda wish I'd taken the initiative and promoted it more heavily myself. Hope to do so this coming year, at least. To be clear, I don't think guilt-tripping people is effective and I have no interest in that, only in trying to spread enthusiasm. I know some people would probably tell me to just move on. But I still have stories I want to tell, and I'm just not ready to leave this fandom yet.
