I may not immediately announce it when we turn IP tracking off, to avoid encouraging the troll back in, but I don't like having it on and once it's off we will keep it turned off permanently unless we have more troll problems (in which case it'll be turned back on temporarily to deal with that).

A ~fandom nemesis~ of mine is being publicly wanky in a way that's getting her noticed as a wanker by Fandom At Large, but Fandom At Large is completely misunderstanding the fundamentals of what makes that person so wanky due to lack of familiarity. And I can't step in to explain without revealing how creepily familiar with this person's very particular issues I am, and no one likes a grudgewanker.
