does anyone have strong opinions on how aggressively this comm should be promo'ed, and where it should be promo'ed if it is?

I was thinking of tossing another couple mentions up on ffa and wiffu, maybe posting to fandomcalendar, and submitting a promo post to femslashrevolution on tumblr.

I think it should be promoted because more people are good and will keep this place more active.

how much experience do you have modding and how many of the common trolls do you know

that really affects the answer imo, trolls on wiffu have been really bad lately and could jump on this place bc there's only one mod rn

1) modding in general (exchanges, blogs, rp sites, etc): ~8 years
modding primarily-anonymous discussion-heavy dreamwidth comms: absolute 0

2) I am p. good at detecting wtnvha and have a very low bullshit/jerkass tolerance as a mod in general but I don't know many of the other common trolls well (part of the reason I'm taking mod apps rn, I'm hoping to pull a more experienced dw anon meme mod onboard)

I don't go to wiffu often except to rubberneck at the discourse & het hate threads, didn't know about the recent trolling, I may hold off on promoing there for now because of that. thanks anon.

Right now I personally am more in favour of keeping it small but steady. Wiffu, no. Meme, maybe, the trolls are out in force there right now, plus there's already been a hate thread about this place. Fandom calendar sounds good.
