thanks, I agree. I'll play around with style options some more after work today. what themes would you suggest?

(eta: I changed it to a premade thing that is marginally more readable for now, lmk if you have any suggestions. have never created a discussion-oriented comm before.)

My suggestion would be the site skin. Why does everyone hate the site skin?

Thanks- this is already loads better. I still think the site skin is more readable, though...
Maybe giving the subject line/timestamp area a background color to separate it visually from the comment text would help?

This theme doesn't really work for me on mobile - the text is massive and the width of the comments very small.
