When the Beforan trolls were introduced, I sighed loudly at cast bloat, but then it turned out that Meenah and Porrim are so hot that basically anything could be forgiven.

I really like the idea of Aranea ♦ Meenah with Aranea doing the pacifying at first, but then they swap roles when Aranea goes all Mindfang.
