Isn't it great? It just straddles the line between cozy and cathartic so perfectly. I think of it as a wish fulfillment fic but I'm never sure if I want to be part of a perfect couple healing a traumatized assassin with sex and good food or to be adopted by a couple with healthy communication strategies who are very invested in my emotional landscape.
