I've Been Trying To Reach You is an exquisitely iddy Quinn/Rachel high school AU where Rachel's raised by a homophobic stage mom and Quinn transfers to her private school post-pregnancy. It feels very YA novel in the best way, with a significant teen band plotline, lots of emotional drama and fumbling dry humping.

I'm not super fond of the way they use Mercedes or how forgiving many characters were to Rachel in the beginning chapters, but there's some very good pining and pure hormonal lust in here.
