Evie/Abigail from Lovesick (formerly Scrotal Recall)!

The show itself is overwhelmingly heterosexual because the premise is the protagonist calling up old girlfriends to tell them he's got chlamydia, but in the flashback I just watched we find out that the best friend he's in love with and his current girlfriend met at a hotel years ago and had a ~real connection~.

They talk all night, commiserate about their love lives, Evie convinces Abigail to dump the guy she's dating, who mistakes them for lesbians... and then someone pulls the fire alarm because sitcom antics and throws away the email Evie leaves for Abigail. It's such a missed opportunity that my brain was instantly fizzing with AUs where like... nobody pulls the fire alarm and they have to cook all the room service dishes all night!
