Serena/June. Watching them circling each other was the most fascinating part of season 2. I just... Serena is so horrible but really compelling, and I can enjoy her teetering into redemption as much as I can enjoy her get her karma. And I love June, because she has such drive for survival. but when she's trying to manipulate Serena it seems genuine (contrast to how you can see her disgust for Fred when she's playing that part) like she really, really, wants to turn Serena, like the idea of that itself gives her a hope she can't let go of.

There's not a lot in the fanfic department, but I've read a couple of really good ones just now.
