I love that story! It's so fascinating to see all the different iterations. I would like to see a convention for alternate universe versions of myself, despite the possibility of murder.

I like that the protagonist is an insurance investigator instead of a proper detective, and the divergence point of the girl and the horse, and the confusion of all the different Sarahs! The writer using her own name was a nice touch. I wonder if her wife is really called Mabel.

I think (spoiler) the murder weapon was the author's own, potentially! She's won a Nebula. :D

Oh, damn, I totally didn't even get that! That's awesome. Also, I found an interview with the author about a story and apparently her girlfriend's name actually is Mabel:

Haha, I love that! And apparently her only cameo was letting her Nebula be used as a murder weapon. :D
