I haven't watched the show in years, but I'm really happy for them! Does anyone else here remember the big scandal with Mathematical! after "What Was Missing" first aired? It's heartening and kind of astonishing that we've gone from people being literally fired by Cartoon Network over suggesting that Marceline and Bonnibel becoming a couple might possibly maybe be in the cards to an onscreen kiss.

Yeah, that was incredibly frustrating and fucked up. But there has been actual, significant progress in just the past year or two, stuff that never would have appeared in a kids show five years ago. Korrassami bridged the gap, and then SU tromped gleefully over it. And now PB and Marcy are girlfriends who can actually kiss each other. \o/
