amberprice from lis is one of my otps which inevitably ends tragically no matter what (unless we're talking about the free spin-off visual novel which is an AU where rachel lives)

there's something about the short, passionate fling that i just love despite how it ends with rachel getting with various men and then dying with chloe none the wiser until max helps her find out what happened
maybe it's that rachel validates chloe's feelings unlike everyone else in her life at that stage or maybe it's chloe projecting all her hopes and desires on rachel and deciding to basically dedicate her life to her pearl-style or maybe it's just the manipulation aspect of it since clearly rachel was taking more than she gave all while lying about her double life to her

maybe it's all the above idk i just love it
