Going to shill The Strange Case of Starship Iris here - it's a podcast with 8 40-minute episodes out.

It's a sci-fi, government conspiracy f/f funtimes with a disaster crew. It's been really entertaining and endearing tbh. The main ship is Violet/Arkady, but if that doesn't work for you, Sana/Arkady also has excellent potential if you like Captain/loyal First Mate dynamics.

it took me forever to realize this canon had f/f because arkady is a dude's name. is that on purpose or is it just a russian naming failure? i mean, maybe it's uncharitable not to assume they knew what they were doing, but people fuck up russian names so often i don't have much benefit of the doubt left

Ayrt

Uh, without spoiling too much I can say that Arkady's full name is Arkady Patel, and she picked that name herself because of said government shenanigans. Idk if the dude name thing is intentional since the character is South Asian, not Russian, but the canon doesn't seem like the kind that'd really care much about the supposed gender of names too much.

NA

It was really fun and I'd love more of it but it took me two goes at the first episode to get passed how much Violet's voice actor's voice grates on me and I did not manage to get used to it or over the instinctive dislike I took to her as a character as a result which makes me really not enjoy Violet/Arkady as a ship. Sana/Arkady though gives me all the feels and I was really surprised by how interested in Brian as a character I was and how invested in Brian/Krejjh having a happy ending.
