I have a story I’m sort of working on the worldbuilding for, where it’s a fantasy world with a kind of low-level magic permeating everything and pregnancy can just happen when you have sex (without the right kind of magical contraceptive charm), no matter if you’re two women or two men or a woman and a man or whatever. It’s all kind of the backdrop for an arranged marriage plot, anyway.
