Xena/Gabrielle - less the ship and more the Tumblr shippers who create all the new content I see now.

Yes, Xena and Gabrielle are soulmates, yes, they are always going to have each others backs and yes, the show provided some lovely soft caring moments between but that's not all they were. They disagreed with each other, failed to communicate their problems and fought over things big and small. I want the edges as well. There's no fun in just having the moments of complete agreement knowing this is right if they haven't had to work to get there.
