Standard appreciation for our brief but beautiful canon f/f in the form of Armistice/Hanaryo. Would watch a whole show about their adventures.

In s1 I vaguely shipped Maeve/Armistice, on the shallow It's Hot principle. But in s2 it was much more about Maeve/Akane. I honestly thought they would smooch. Their love is deep and true! I still have hope for them reuniting, somehow, in the future. Anything's possible on this show.

I also think it's fairly likely Dolores and Charlotte!Dolores have boned, will bone. It's in her/their nature(s). And personally I am all about it, please let that be a major part of s3, Dolores's self-lovin'.

What other things do you guys ship? I see definite potential in Dolores/Maeve and Maeve/Clementine as well. I know a lot of fans were excited about the Elsie/Clementine kiss in s1, but Clementine was so checked out in that scene I couldn't even get into it in a badwrong way, personally. I didn't hate it or anything, it was just kind of there. I guess I mostly ship the hosts with each other, but Charlotte/Emily has a lot of potential on the human side of things. (Or, well, they might be back, as human-but-not...this is Westworld after all and the theme is that death is an illusion, like pants.)

I had the same feeling about the Elsie/Clementine kiss, but then in S02 Clementine is the one who took Bernard to save Elsie and IDK, I know there is still some Clementine in each role the host-self played, so in a way Clementine saved Elsie? I tell myself this every time I think of them.

But then Elsie died, and my brain can't accept character death, so I need host!Elsie. I really think host!Elsie would be great, at least it feels possible that she might exist. Who else would be on Bernard team if not her? And okay I think I'm just being hopeful here, but Maeve would definitely bring back Clementine.


Anyway, my feelings for the show were messed up until Armistice and Hanaryo happened. Like, I watched it with interest, had my heart aching at times, but I don't think I loved loved it, but then Armistice and Hanaryo came on screen together and that was when something clicked. It's the little things, right?

I want all sorts of AUs, divergent AUs based on the same premise for them now. :(

That's a good point about Clementine! And I don't think anything is out of bounds--all the hosts have died so many times, and humans are either so simple anyone can make one, or we still can't figure out how to make them right (but that's coming! Fidelity!) and so I guess if there's a backup copy of Elsie's data or even just anyone who remembers her giving it a shot, she could come back as a host. I know the actress said she was willing to return.

Armistice and Hanaryo are really just my type of character, I love those bad girls. And Armistice kept Hanaryo with her! And Hanaryo left with her! I don't take character death in Westworld seriously, it's like Marvel that way.
