Because wow, was there some real femslashy potential there, and we even got a canon kiss or two and at least one canon FF. And like I was saying over in another thread, because of the nature of the show, you can have multiple versions of characters in various relationships with each other, which is fun. Any other fans here?

DOES IT EVER, and it looked like there was potential for Two recovering Rebecca's memories? And the show was definitely going somewhere with Android maybe becoming human (those odd flashforwards) and/or transcending via the chip? I'd love to know what endgame the showrunner had in mind for everyone.

There was a ton of potential! Though to be honest, I was really into Android being just an android, albeit one Portia had made some upgrades to. Always dug the idea of Portia sympathizing with her just because she was an android and feeling kinship with her.

I especially loved that Android liked just being her android self around the ship, and didn't feel she needed the upgrade on all the time to connect with the crew and consider them friends. And that Two understood that.

*raises hand* I ship p much everything except Two/Shaw - at least as it stood on the show, though I would absolutely buy it with sufficient buildup. (In canon, Shaw just seemed so all about Rebecca? And Two came across to me as a little disconcerted and a little curious, but I just wasn't getting any UST out of it. :P)

But any combo of Two, Nyx, the android, and Misaki is A++ as far as I'm concerned, and alternate Portia/alternate Tash, Rebecca/Shaw, Solara and anybody in an AU where she stuck around longer ... GOOD STUFF. :D

Ooh, Portia/Tash sounds excellent. And with you on Solara/anyone--I really liked Solara and wish she'd shown up sooner so we could've gotten more character development for her.

:D Yes! I was so sad when regular Tash died, because I hadn't really expected her to last more than an ep or two BUT STILL, and then alternate Tash showed up and I was thrilled. And Solara! I would have loved to have more episodes about her and the rest of the crew, for sure. ♥

I so wanted alt!Portia and alt!Tash just backstabbing everyone and being pirate queens together. Everyone in that show got great at portraying different versions of their characters, but Melissa O'Neil was so good at it.
