Ouran ships are hot as hell if they're all girls. It's hottest if they're all still the Host Club just as it is in canon, too - dressed like that and acting as "boys" for the girls of their school to have romantic fantasy interactions with - like instead of the first ep surprise being that Haruhi is a girl, it turns out they all are? Tamaki/Kyouya becomes a girl who is overcome by the idea of acting as a prince to girls, and the daughter of a businessman who doesn't have a chance in hell of taking over the business but decides she's gonna do it anyway. Hikaru/Kaori becomes twin girls who are unhealthily tangled up in each other, completely each others' worlds, play-acting at being incestuous bad boy twins for yaoi fans. And just imagining Mori/anyone... Wow.

And I'm fairly neutral-positive about Tamaki/Haruhi as it is in canon, but now I can't shake the idea of Tamaki being completely hormonally confused about wanting to be Haruhi's "daddy," but also wanting to date her, and kind of wanting to be her prince, but also deep down kinda wanting Haruhi to be her daddy (in a kinky way)... I kind of love them when it's like that!

Same, tbh. And the relationship with the host club's parents would add such excellent drama--it's not like there are really other boys in the entire school in canon, are there? ...Who can I bribe to write this fic?

I would write it if I had watched the canon, lmao. But I'm sick of the ends-in-het crossdressing girl stories right now so I don't see me watching OHSC anytime soon.

That's fair! tbh, I watched it less for the crossdressing, but the truly bizarre things the rich people did. It felt very true to my limited experience with rich kids.

It also would give a very nice dynamic with the Zuka Club. Would they know about it? Would they discover it and try to recruit them all to their school? f!Tamaki/Zuka Club Leader foe-yay could be super hot.
