This one time someone in my fandom loudly expressed bewilderment and annoyance that some fans might want two prominent female characters on the show to get screentime together and even talk to each other because there was "no reason for them to do so."

is this a male-dominated fandom? if so iktf and send out my condolences

regardless it is frustrating to get into something and then you want to ship practically anything gay but they don't interact at all

It's Red vs. Blue, so yeah, absolutely a male dominated fandom in terms of characters. There are some amazing female characters, the potential is there, but they frequently either do not get to interact at all or are written as not getting along, so yeah it's just adding insult to injury to be told that wanting two of them to speak is asking too much.

DA: Ohhhhhhhhh, man, I hate when people get like that. It's not going to hurt the 10,000 canon dudes if Kai and Carolina get to say more than two words to each other!! Or Carolina and Kimball, or... an endless list of characters I would love to see interact. :(
