Gone to the Dogs, 173k Natasha Romanov/Maria Hill fic, set just after Natasha turns herself into SHIELD and SHIELD isn't sure what to do with her yet. I read about 25k and was enjoying the slow burn, but I finally gave up on it because the POV changed between Maria and Natasha almost every paragraph, and I couldn't handle it anymore.

My fear with fic that has PoV changes like that is that I'm actually reading a repurposed RP log. Power to the people who enjoy doing it, but especially when the fic is explicit, it can start to feel awkwardly like I'm eavesdropping on two people cybering.

I was rereading Cut Through the Heart, the Frozen fic which comes the closest to what I wanted in Elsanna - incest guilt! Elsa running from her problems! Intigue! Plot! Magic mirrors!

Unfortunately it's not finished and looks like it never, ever will be, even though it's clearly very close to the end :C

i recently read this fic and i loved the vagueness in the way they described the genitals. (it's a Moicy a/b/o fic. gonna admit that i skimmed over the plot parts and just read the porn. /o\)

i never read a/b/o written like this so it was a new experience, and the porn was really hot. now i'm tempted to try this ambiguity method to write a/b/o for my not-g!p-welcoming fandoms.

I just finished re-reading This Man Looked Exactly Like Natalie Portman When He Was 13 (Red vs. Blue, Kimbalina - it's primarily a friendship fic involving another character, but the Kimbalina is prominent enough I don't consider it background).

There are parts of the fic that rely on some fanon I'm not super into, but that's mostly periphery and doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the Kimbalina parts. I think both Kimball and Carolina are characterized well and I love watching them bond over regrets and tough calls in the high stakes of war.
