Not watching this but feel like I should. Is Kadena as insta-love as the gifsets make it seem?

I wouldn't call it quite insta-love given that Kat has to go through the whole "I'm straight--oops, I'm not straight!" subplot to get there. The writing of the show is up and down in general--Kadena is no worse than the rest of it and certainly has more personality all around than some of the bland het relationships.

It's a mixed bag, imo. Worth a watch but be prepared for very "issue of the week" writing that introduces new character threads as suddenly as it drops them.
