I honestly just made this thread to tell meme that Issa Rae and Wanda Sykes voice wives in one of the episodes of the new Bojack Horseman, and they're awesome. I need a whole TV show about Issa as Wanda's younger trophy wife now.

The Archer (2017) has canon f/f. it's an action movie about a champion in archery who gets sent to an abusive teen institution.

idk how to talk about it without spoilers, but it's good, meme. you sort of expect how the story goes, but ffs, for me i kept worrying one of them would die. neither died. it's a good ending.

American Vandal had a lesbian character as the awkward braggy rich girl who is reviled by the school for pretending to be friends with a Kardashian (it's a whole thing). She gets catfished and it's pretty sad, but I appreciated that the show allowed her to be the same amount of terrible as all its other characters.

I liked her! I kind of wanted her to get together with Chloe for some reason. Like maybe Chloe comes across Jenna crying somewhere after the whole thing goes down, and is awkwardly sympathetic, and Jenna's initially angry about getting sympathy but they eventually manage to connect and catch feelings.

Yes! I was crossover-shipping Jenna and Christa Carlyle (they're both the same kind of vaguely fake but ultimately good-hearted) but I could also go for Jenna/Chloe. Chloe might be feeling guilty about not being able to stop the Turd Burglar. And then she brings Jenna into the Horsehead Collective, because what that musical group really needs is someone trained in classical violin.

I can't believe I didn't hear about Younger sooner! The main character's roommate Maggie is a canon lesbian and one of my favorite characters on the show (and I like most of the characters). She's had a couple of relationships so far (I'm in the middle of season 4) and I don't have a strong preference yet, I just love Maggie.

I still love that there's a canon f/f couple in the Scarlett Johansson movie Rough Night. Extra bonus that one of them is played by Zoe Kravitz but the storyline is so sweet.

A fair amount! I'd consider them a major secondary plot. The main characters are an ensemble of four women - Scarlett and another's friendship is the main plot character-wise. There's also some criminal shenanigans (not related to the women) which I think is supposed to be important.

There are het sub-plots with the other women - it's Scarlett's character's bachelorette party.

On that new, horrible Ryan Murphy show 911 (a baby is flushed down a pipe! Someone has a heart attack on an airplane! A firefighter gets punctured through the brain and lives!) there is a character called Hen who is a Black butch lesbian having relationship drama with her wife and her ex. She's actually pretty great and has strong friendships with all the other characters.

I love the show and Hen is the best. I want to see more of her with her wife, and that's at least partly because Traci Thoms is hot.

Also not lesbian but I love Athena's husband's story, too. I know it's Ryan Murphy but so far both plots are lovely.

Athena is so great! Her voice, god. I love when she intimidates criminals. I can't believe Angela Basset is in her sixties.

just finished The Haunting of Hill House, and if you're into scary stuff, it's an A+ show. it also has canon f/f.

IDK how to describe her well because my feelings are all over the place rn, but Theo is amazing, young Theo, too. her storyline is good, but it has a couple of stupid bits, one being how they concluded her relationship with her love interest after the mess they've begun with. it felt bland and lacking comparing to the other siblings' relationships' endings.

but I can't get that mad. that second time they fucked was enough to make me ship them intensely.

also, I liked the sisters' relationship a lot. so much hurt and sadness, and oh god, when they found out Theo is a lesbian, it was super cute and funny. Theo/Nelly, meme, Theo/Nelly. :(

I think I'm actually shipping Theo/Nelly more rn.

another canon. I watched the first ep from Charmed, and one of the sisters is a lesbian!

as a fan of the original, I was a little pleased with the pilot. but will definitely watch more episodes.

I love that they're making the queer subtext text in the adaptation! Finally Theo gets to be very gay.

in theory, she seems like she'll match Mel's pace, and they'll have fun interactions when witchcraft-y things start happening considering who she (her name is Nico) is. but the acting isn't good that their scenes felt one-sided, if that makes sense.

I'm willing to give her a chance, though. the episode itself felt rushed and unpolished, so...
