You can use the wrong fandom trick. On the nominations form, you put in any random fandom name - Harry Potter or something - and then enter the characters you want to check.

If those characters have been nominated by someone else, you will get an error message that tells you "the character 'Dominuura (Simoun)' has already been nominated for the fandom 'Simoun', try disambiguating and submitting again".

If you don't get a hit that way, you sometimes want to try checking different variations on a character name, just in case someone entered it differently. So 'Dominuura', or 'Dominuura (Simoun)' or if there are various spellings. Like Aaeru vs. Aeru (neither of which appear to have been nommed, unfortunately).

It seems like most of them EXCEPT Aeru and Neviril are nominated, which seems unlikely but I'll send them through just in case, plus the Plumbish Priestesses (always potentially interesting!) and Halconf.

That's really cool of you! I'm glad they'll be in there. FYI there are people on _coal offering to nominate things for people, if there was another fandom you sacrificed in favour of Simoun.

It turns out that some of the stuff I was worried about seems to have been nominated after all and just not spreadsheeted, since I got an error when I tried to (wrong-fandom) nominate it! For all I know I may have wasted a nomination slot anyway since I did nominate a fandom with no characters that maybe someone else already did, but I didn't know how to check that one.
