Will Villanelle forgive Eve for stabbing her? Will Eve forgive Villanelle for being an international assassin? What the hell are either of them going to do now? What the hell is up with Carolyn?

Anyway I am awash with a desire for both futurefic and many AUs, including one that has taken over my mind where Eve is the international assassin and Villanelle works for MI5.

I'm curious about your role reversal fic idea. In that situation would Villanelle still be a psychopath but be successfully hiding it from her bosses?

This is a more dangerous Villanelle than fic usually has her, and I love it so.

Please do keep posting your recs, anon! Love this one too, can't say the ending didn't make me a bit mad though.

See, that's why I love it! It made me mad and thrilled the same way the show's ending did.

Also, I love the tension of Villanelle, not just the good/bad dichotomy but also whether she's capable of a relationship that does not end in either her or Eve's destruction. I'm more positive about her in general than the fic is but I really like seeing different answers to the question of "can they actually have a functional relationship?"

me! or at least, I had that thought while watching, before I got distracted again.

it started off as a small pair the spares type feeling for me but then it kept growing the more she fangirled about carolyn

I just wanted Carolyn to take the whole ‘it would be better to tell your husband you’re having an affair’ thing to its logical conclusion and eat Eve out on a simple yet ruinously expensive hotel bedspread!
