No, actually! She has been diagnosed, she's been to therapy, she has a treatment plan and now she is living a successful life as a MI5 linguist. The divergence point here for Villanelle is that as a child she was found and adopted by Carolyn Martens, primarily as a cover to allow her to keep visiting Russia (giving little Oksana access to her heritage!).

The Anna thing still happens, and Carolyn lets her go to jail, but the sentence is diminished because with Carolyn's influence, Anna confesses to their affair on the stand and also probably publicly rejects that Villanelle meant anything to her/says that she was just one of many students (again, Carolyn's influence, gotta get your kid away from the woman she killed for somehow).

So now Oksana has a cool job, nice apartment, lots of money, fancy clothes, friends who adore her... and like Eve in our universe, something's missing. (Then again, murder =/= fulfillment, since alt!Eve who I still need to workshop feels like something's missing, too.) Carolyn won't let her work in the field, so when MI5 encounters a dangerous assassin who seems to have a fascination for her, she volunteers to use herself as bait.

Hmm, not sure! Maybe one of Oksana's girlfriends? She saw that Kenny was into her and decided to add her to the team and seduce her just for fun.
