Any love for Lady of the Shard? I always see requests for it for exchanges. I never feel like I can write for it, but it's such a pretty webcomic and the fic for it is usually pretty good.

Lady of the Shard is so gorgeous and I love that it gets slightly Problematic/complicated without going full grimdark.

I love Lady of the Shard! It's got so many things that I love - complicated pasts, betrayal, mind control, convincing love stories...

I am trying to write for it myself, but it's tough. The comic has such a clear style and it's hard to get across the same feel with words alone.

Yes! I'm vaguely into Carla/Malaya, mostly as a holdover from Shortpacked!, but it's probably not happening because Willis said he's not repeating ships that were in his other works. Carla/Billie/Ruth, maybe? Carla/Sal as rivals somehow? Carla becomes the supervillain to Amazi-Girl's hero?

Oh man those are all REALLY GOOD ideas. I think supervillain!Carla is my favorite though. It would be such an interesting clash of personalities because Carla would be doing it for fun and Amber would be taking everything Deathly Seriously.

I would love love love Carla as sort of a trickstery/Catwoman type. Like, she's stealing all the socks from the house of a bigoted Congressman! Or reappropriating cash from university administration to deliver pizza to every residence hall on campus! And Amber would 100% take everything very very seriously as Carla makes a mockery out of the law.

Madame Ferrier, the protagonist of Lavender Jack (https://www.webtoons.com/en/thriller/lavender-jack/list?title_no=1410), is a happily married older woman, and she's a brilliant detective. Her wife is senile, which is sad and tragic and remarked upon by everyone else, but they still clearly love one another very much.
