FF-friendly communities

Someone already mentioned [community profile] spacefungusparty, which had a lot of great discussion in general and is also quite FF-friendly.

People here might know about this already, but there's also [community profile] fffriday, which just started back in May and is as low-effort a rec comm as I've ever seen:

Every Friday, review, recommend, or discuss an FF book, short story, or other work, and label the review "FF Friday."
You can post on your own DW and put a link here, or post here - up to you.
You do not have to commit to doing this every Friday to join in. Whenever you can is fine.
Reviews do not have to be positive. They can be any length, down to one sentence.

Anyone else know about other FF comms or FF-friendly comms? There's also the DW interests search which you can limit to comms: https://www.dreamwidth.org/interests?int=femslash&type=C

(Yeah I know DW comms tend to be small and sleepy, but the love you take is equal to the love you make and all that, and actually in my experience if people do start contributing and do it consistently, it doesn't take much to get regular discussion going even if it is slow. Slow can be good.)

Am I the only one who remembers femslash_today? It's a livejournal com femslash newsletter and links to various fics. It's been running since 2005 and used to be pretty big but then livejournal crashed. They also used to do porn battles.

The most fandom-involved I ever was was collecting links for them! I loved that comm, it helped me really keep a running sense of where the f/f fandoms were when I was considering checking out a show/book/etc., and where to find the fic once I did.

I can barely believe it, but the ~bi-weekly Buffy femslash flash exchange comm, [livejournal.com profile] femslash_minis, is STILL GOING in this year 2018. They are on round 199 and have been in business since 2005.

[livejournal.com profile] femslash100, for fics between 100 and 250 words, is also still going. Looks like they're moving to DW at the end of the year.

sa

That said, it looks like femslash_minis is really struggling for signups these days, so if Jossverse (not just Buffy, I had forgotten) flashfic exchanges sound like they're up your alley, you should check it out. You do have to join the comm to see the entries.
