I take all my ships with a side of loyalty kink, but one of my favorite variations is Padme/any of her handmaidens. They all have slightly different relationships to her-- like, Dorme was still working with her when she was in the Senate and is called her "most devoted aide”! We see both Corde and Sabe acting as Padme’s body doubles in very different situations-- Corde actually died! There’s a lot there to explore about how each of the handmaidens relates to Padme (and I’m hoping the upcoming book will give us even more) and how dedicated they are.

Oh my gosh, that book announcement was like CHRISTMAS.

I love how with this there's always this razor-thin tension in their relationship; they're totally devoted to her, and she to them, but they'll also die for her - and Padme has to bear the guilt of that and I don't think that's easy.

I LOVE the Padme/handmaidens and I can't wait for swrares so I can request ALL OF IT.
