AYRT I think I got it from a Le Guin story, where Persephone says "my friend the singer's wife." And of course they seem to have a connection in the folk opera/musical Hadestown.

I hadn't thought about pre- or post-Orpheus much, that's interesting. If it was after, they could console each other about being stuck there. Except Persephone does get to leave, and Eurydice wouldn't.
