kinking on gender essentialism in fiction =/= uncritically subscribing to gender essentialism IRL, but I would be so much more into omegaverse if it didn't usually come packaged with all the gender roles played straight and fantasy sexism stuff

This is exactly my problem with a/b/o. It's already ruined a lot of slash for me, I want it to stay the hell away from femslash.
