Give me Steve Universe f/f fanart prompts and I'll do my best to draw them. It's more of a long-shot, femslash wise, but Hakuoki would be cool too.

I can't guarantee I'll draw everything, and am cool with other people filling the prompts.

I'm squicked by explicit sex/kink, incest, zombies(*), and anything too close to child/adult. I'm fine with moderate violence.

(*)Of the mindless contagious sort. I'm fine with, like, Lars.

I really do like Rose<>Jade, which this troll AU fic sold me on: archiveofourown.org/works/300683

They don't interact a ton in canon, but they're opposites in ways that make me think they could restrain each other's worse tendencies, plus they're both sort of know-it-alls who'd try to restrain each other in the first place.

I'm also invested in the idea of Vriska embarking on a series of horrible unhealthy moiraillegiances, each time 800% sure that this one is going to be the moiraillegiance that finally saves her.

Ooh, thank you for the fic rec, and I love that concept actually! I have never really considered Rose/Jade outside of the Beta Kids OT4, but I loved the canon scene where Jade tried to handle Rose's grief.

Same: re: Vriska, but any pale ship I can think of for her (except for Vriska<>John) would turn flushed or caliginous soon. Maybe a girl John is the answer. Oooh, or Feferi? Feferi successfully unsettled Vriska that one time, it was great. OTOH, the thought of Vriska bursting Feferi's bubble of kindness and necessary orphaning is kind of terrifying.

Ooh, I could get behind Vriska<>Girl John. Or maybe Vriska<>Roxy? Since Roxy is a puddle of good-natured affection and yet also resilient enough to not really care about Vriska's machinations.

Vriska<>Feferi could find a balance, I think. Maybe not a "help each other be better and emotionally healthier people" kind of moirallegiance but "help each other be more effective and useful to the establishment of a new Alternia", maybe.

Vriska wants to be the hero and tries to do many things for people, which means I could see her being OK with being in Feferi's service as long as Fef is properly appreciative. She likes trying to burst other people's bubbles when she lashes out, but I think it would be good for Feferi to have to confront things outside her bubble of privilege and good cheer.

Agreed fully re: Feferi! It'd be very functional, and I think they'd be good for each other. Maybe Feferi could give Vriska lots of - measured, playful - praise? Otoh, it doesn't feel like a very... romantic romance, to me? More just practical.

Vriska<>Roxy could be very sweet, but it'd have to be a fairly nice Vriska. Post-epilogue, or dead, I think. And definitely a post-canon Roxy. I think Vriska would actually really respect Roxy for getting her drinking under control when the battles started... but I shudder to think what Vriska would have done to vulnerable, drunk Roxy.

God, Girl John... Did you ever read that one fic where everyone was schoolgirls? That's what I think of when I think of girl John, sort of a doofy shoujo protagonist but somehow that's just really hot. Something about the confidence, maybe?

You're right that Fef<>Vriska is not super romantic. I kind of want Feferi to enter a strategic moiraillegiance with Vriska because the empire needs her and she needs papped, and then both of them develop these huge depths of protective/perhaps somewhat possessive feelings while still thinking it's just a moiraillegiance of convenience...

God, yeah, they'd need to be on an even level to have anything functional. Vriska doesn't do well on the higher side of a power difference, I think.

(I am so here for Vriska<>Mom! Suddenly I'm thinking like, pale hooker AU. Or just Vriska as a kept moirail, lounging about on all the wizard statues in artfully torn/messy clothes.)
