I'm the asshole though who started watching the show AFTER S3 had aired and the clexapocalypse had exploded all over social media. I knew going in that there was gonna be a canon f/f ship that concluded with a dead lesbian and I was going to hate it. I was so determined not to get invested in clexa or ship it at all.

I failed FML.

i got into it for the gay and was in the fandom before the infamous episode happened so i got to witness the rise and fall of the clexa fandom

it was glorious though it's somehow still struggling along even now

Yeah there's still quite a lot of fic being written. Considering the ship has been killed off in canon for two years now it's pretty impressive.
