ALL OF THEM. Obviously.

But scifi, fantasy, and horror because I’m tired of lesbian content only or mostly being contemporary works and genre being saved for dead lesbians.

I don’t really care about gay content so much.

Thirded! I feel like there are a good deal of genre canons with a female protag - which is great, I'm here for this. Now just make them 110% gayer plz.

And like, there are even a fair amount of these canons that feature multiple female characters, and sometimes even focus on the relationships between these women - but still. It needs to be gayer. A million times gayer.

Is "heists" too specific a genre? Give me lesbian art thieves! Give me schemes and extremely gray morality!

It is not too specific.

Not the OP here but I’m waving my femslash fairy wand and making a declaration.

Ocean’s 8 desperately needed some actual lesbian content, not just semitextual flirting. Or a sequel with lesbian content.

If they do a sequel I really hope they make Cate and Sandra's characters' backstory explicit. TBH though I'd be happy with any combination of those women making out.

Eternally dying for the version of Leverage where Maggie and Nate switch roles and Maggie is the team leader with the years of flirty cat and mouse history with Lesbian Art Thief Sophie and the series ends with them heading off into the sunset together to get married and live HEA.

i'm gonna say horror because i loved thelma (2017) and jennifer's body as bad as it was had some gr8 lesbian subtext
i would actually argue that lgbt horror is the most important, beautiful kind of lgbt content considering how much of an lgbt base there is among horror fandom

Not a genre as such, but I really want a lesbian PI show. Any kinda 40s style, suit-wearing, cigar-smoking, whisky-drinking, black and white mystery, but the lead is a lesbian instead of a bitter white dude.

Can she be bitter, tho? And meet an ingeneue in a white dress that she misread for a femme fatale like her ex, but maybe I'm getting too Devil Wears Prada AU specific. I don't really care that much, just yes, I like your ideas.

I want more big, warm, funny romcoms where the big obstacle for the couple is just their own ridiculous personalities and foibles and friends/families instead of sexuality. Like a lesbian Big Eden, or a lesbian Bridget Jones's Diary, or a lesbian Crazy Rich Asians (! AU where Rachel comes to Asia as the girlfriend of Astrid).

All of them! But especially the big scale epics adventure SFF stories that can often have a lot of main male characters, I want those with a mostly female cast of shippable characters.

I once saw someone saying they wanted a story similar to LOTR but with an all-women fellowship of the ring and that's the feeling. There's some archetypes and relationships in those kind of stories that female characters rarely get to be and have, that I'd love to see.

The stoic female bodyguard! Angry jerk who ruins the group dynamic! Fearless leader with a stick up her ass! But all female and squabbling on a quest to whatever.

cyberpunk

for all that most cyberpunk franchises emphasize that racism/sexism/homophobia are things of the past in favor of robophobia/etc... they are still painfully heteronormative
