Currently still poking away at the emotional beats of a fic where A and C were both lovers of B, but B has died. And then A banged B's evil double for several fics. Now A and C are going to have an angsty reunion where they sublimate their grief over B into (sort of pre-existing) lust for each other. With a bit of a C/a dom/sub vibe.

I'm just hoping that people who came to my fic series for the evil!B/A stuff won't be disappointed. But really I'm just writing it for myself, so my faves can all bang angstily.

I'm trying to write an Utena/Princess Bride fusion, because Anthy is very 'as you wish' and I love the idea of Utena as Buttercup but deciding to be a prince when she hears Anthy is dead. Except I don't know how to reintroduce Anthy because the idea of surprise pirate Anthy is so jarring.

I love the idea! Dread Pirate Anthy is hilarious to me somehow.

Maybe it would work by going at it with the kind of absurd humor surrounding Anthy that turns creepy as the story unfold? (especially with Nanami) Anthy does have a thing for sneaking around in the background, disappearing and reappearing. And she's someone used with "playing roles", between the Rose Bride and her creepy witch side.

I think the only way pirate Anthy would work is in a creepy Davy Jones way. Narratively all you really need is for the Westley to be in a vaguely powerful/cool role that lets them rescue Buttercup, so anything from 'traveling caravan fortuneteller' to 'witch who lives in a weird Baba Yaga house' would work.

I'm thinking over an idea for MCU Natasha, where the Red Room trained all of the Black Widows to present as whatever sexual orientation was most advantageous and effective for the mission at hand, and she continued doing that once she was working for SHIELD. And after SHIELD fell in TWS, she was no longer working for them, and was forced to rethink a lot of things he'd always thought were true about herself. And in the process, she slowly figures out that she's lesbian, and has to come to terms with both that and realizing that she's also sexually submissive. And her getting together with Sharon along the way.

Tl;dr, Natasha as someone with a lot of experience with sex, but very little of it being about her own desires, figuring out what her own desires and inclinations are as an adult, and finding love and a life partner in the process.
