Like...it sort of makes sense to me in that if I remember right Jack's story re: women is that she slept with an m/f pair for survival reasons and isn't actually bi herself. So she's trying to pre-empt any kind of being pressured into sex with a woman who's in a position of power over her. Which, fair.

that's fair, but m!shep is in a position of power over her too, which mysteriously doesn't bother her at all

i mean, i guess the idea is that since she's actually attracted to him it doesn't matter then, but ehhh
