if buffy came out today, i would probably ship willow/buffy instead of tara/willow
and who can forget clexa? they had a short but good run before the bury your gays happened

Date: 2018-08-22 04:15 am (UTC)I'm the asshole though who started watching the show AFTER S3 had aired and the clexapocalypse had exploded all over social media. I knew going in that there was gonna be a canon f/f ship that concluded with a dead lesbian and I was going to hate it. I was so determined not to get invested in clexa or ship it at all.
I failed FML.

Then you've got Exiles Mariko and Spider-Woman Mary Jane, two women from very different universes who met by happenstance and treasured their time together while knowing Mariko would need to leave. But then they got to reunite!

maybe it's that rachel validates chloe's feelings unlike everyone else in her life at that stage or maybe it's chloe projecting all her hopes and desires on rachel and deciding to basically dedicate her life to her pearl-style or maybe it's just the manipulation aspect of it since clearly rachel was taking more than she gave all while lying about her double life to her
maybe it's all the above idk i just love it
